I know I sure did. I was invited down to Osteria Panevino a few days ago to try their holiday Truffle menu, and was blown away not only by the home-made pastas, the fresh shaved truffle, but the wine pairings, all at a great value. If you’ve not been to Osteria Panevino before, it’s a must-try in the Gaslamp District, offering unique and delicious Tuscan-inspired Italian cuisine. The owners are not new to restaurants in the Gaslamp, owning Greystone The Steakhouse and Osetra Fishhouse as well.
The wine pairings are matched to each course, and include the Barbera di Asti, Rosso di Montalcino La Velona, Montepulciano di Abbruzzo Baldovino, and for dessert, a Taylor port.
Here are some of the photos from our dinner.
