Named in honor of Spike Africa, a legendary sea captain of the Pacific, this restaurant is one of my favorites now, with it’s quality food, superb cocktails, and very reasonable prices. They have great fresh fish, oysters, ceviche, and an amazing mustard glazed salmon. I know, I’m making you hungry already.
The drinks are great too. $4 margaritas are just one attraction during it’s generous happy hour from 3:30pm to 6pm Monday thru Friday.
It’s on the corner of 4th and Broadway, right across the street from what will soon be a brand new park and concert venue.
