Experience the Strange & Unusual at the Seaport Village Busker Festival This Weekend

Sword-swallowers, aerialists, jugglers and more will invade Seaport Village for the 8^th annual Spring Busker Festival, Saturday March 29 and Sunday March 30 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. This free festival invites some of the most unique and talented performers from around the world to San Diego’s waterfront. Busking, or street performing for tips, is a centuries-old tradition. Buskers enjoy being on the ground with their audience so they can interact with the crowd. This one-of-a-kind event only happens once a year, and entrance to the Busker Festival is free, although tipping of performers is encouraged. Saturday evening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., buskers will let loose in the village for Buskers After Dark. This lively show will feature a DJ, food and drink specials and busker acts best suited for those over 18. If you’re a beer-lover, you won’t want to miss these deals:

Parking will be available for visitors at the Seaport Village lot, and a free shuttle will run from the parking lot on the northwest corner of Pacific Highway and West Broadway.
