Coyote Ugly now in San Diego

Coyote Ugly certainly brought out the wild side at their Grand Opening Party on Wednesday February 5, 2014. Cowboy boots, daisy dukes, good eats, body shots and dancing on the bar is just a taste of what you can expect. This is the brand’s first Southern California location out of its current 23 that span five countries.

Why San Diego? Lucky for us, founder Liliana “Lil” Lovell, who opened the original Coyote Ugly in New York City in 1993 loves San Diego and recently relocated from New Orleans to La Jolla.

The energy inside the bar is ah-mazing. From the moment I walked in the door it was a sensory overload of great music, entertainment and fun. Girl’s night out? Hot date? Big group of friends? Check! The 7,000 square-foot downtown space features bars on the first and second floor with large booths for a cozy setting. Come hungry because to add to the already delicious menu, the saloon took over a spot next door called Samurai Pie that serves 10 or 16-inch pizzas, plus calzones and a selection of sake.

So ladies, get your boots ready and be sure to partake in the full Coyote Ugly experience—that means getting up on the bar and joining the show!

Coyote Ugly is located at 820 Fifth Avenue and is open from 11am-2am seven days a week for lunch, dinner and its world-renowned entertainment. To learn more, visit www.coyoteuglysaloon.com.
