Love… it’s all you need (Review)
During Blogworld in Vegas, I had the opportunity to attend a comped performance of “The Beatles’ LOVE” by Cirque du Soleil at The Mirage. As part of the deal, I was to write a review of the show for my blog, which I am happy to do, because the show was amazing, the performances and music spectacular, and the theater itself stunning.
I’m not a huge fan of the Beatles, but I left wanting to listen to more of their music. Some songs I recognized and have heard before, most I hadn’t, but they were all matched with tremendous visual performances on a constantly morphing stage. I wasn’t really following the characters of the performance too well… I assume they represent roles in songs, etc. There is a character list on the Love web site which may help, but none-the-less, the show was great, and well worth the money if you love music, love theater, and of course if you even remotely love the Beatles!
tWineUp Sights & Sips Cruise
A tWineUp is a name I made up for my “Twitter Wine Meetups”, join the group to get notification of future ones!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the tWineUp Sights & Sips cruise, it was tons of fun, and I hope you enjoyed yourselves. We went out to Sushi Itto afterwards and enjoyed a nice dinner and sake, then a few of us made it to Altitude to cap off the night with people watching, music, dancing, and relaxing.

Marti-Gras Pics from 2007-Yep, those photos…
Photos of me leading off the Gaslamp Marti Gras parade in ‘07. My friend Jane invited me to be the “pimp” of the all-girl dance troupe she ran for the Gaslamp Marti-gras parade. I mentioned these photos to a few friends and promised I’d scan them in, so finally, here they are…

The street blocked off as we head out, entire parade behind us
