Bikiniweeksd.com: Day 2 at Stingaree

Day 2 at StingareeI attended bikiniweeksd.com’s Day 2 at Stingaree, and had a great time.  My neighbor @2doorsdown and I showed up around 9pm, and headed up stairs to the rooftop. Ciroc Vodka was sponsoring this event, with Hpnotiq drink specials as well, and sample shots were being handed out.

The fashion show was amazing, with the models doing I think 5 or 6 sets of swimsuits, changing unbelievably fast, and getting right back out on the runway. I got some amazing photos, even while using just my iPhone:

I by chance secured an exclusive one-on-one interview with @OnlyPrecious1 today about being one of the models in the show, and we chatted a bit about her experience. She mentioned her call time was 5pm, with them going into make-up and hair (by astyleconcierge.com), and the show didn’t start until around 10pm. That’s a lot of hair and make-up, and waiting around. She also mentioned things were going so fast, that the swimsuit changes were done at lightning speeds with someone pulling one off while pulling another on, she asked if the show was any good. I could tell it was a bit overwhelming to be a part of the show, but let her know that the show was awesome from our point of view. The girls from @AlphaMales were there as well, Kim and @crystalarue cheering her on!

Comments from event organizer Michael Lee on last night’s show:

“Last night was amazing at Stingaree nightclub. The crowd was packed and San Diego was introduced to a whole new style of bikini fashion. We want to thank Pony for adding some of the coolest kicks to hit the runway. The models had body painted tattoos by Chris with Xompany. The stage/runway on the Stingaree rooftop was so cool. The crowd looked towards the sky to see the Rock Themed Fashion Show. Tonight we expect a huge crowd at the Ivy Hotel for Day 3 of Bikini Week. There will be a professional photo shoot my Mike Regala and a pool-side fashion show. For those that want to have Bikini Week shirts, tanks, hats, and Couture beverage containers. Make sure to get your tickets now before they sell out. We are so excited and ready to rock at the Ivy Hotel, so we hope to see your there.” – bikiniweeksd.com
