bikiniweeksd.com: Day 1 at Se San Diego

Bikiniweeksd.com Day 1 at Se San Diego
It’s a hard job, but someone has to do it. I expressed a desire to cover the 5 day event, a bikini fashion show at each of the awesome venues in Downtown San Diego, and was not disappointed. I attended Day 1 at Se San Diego, held at their rooftop pool area named Siren. It was industry-only night, where fashion, photographer, and press members only were allowed. Oh, and myself, disguised as press.
Dozens of photographers were snapping photos as the fashion show got under way, with each model coming out, and ending their walk in the middle of the pool, standing on a platform lined with candles. With all the models on the platform, the designer Francisco Medavog came out and stood with them. His couture designs are sure to turn some heads. Check out more of his work at http://www.medavog.com/
Alicia Eschwege photographed attendees at the opening night of Bikini Week San Diego for Ali Vega photography, and they had a great photography area set up to transform guests into models themselves. Or try to, at least… I’m not exactly runway material I discovered. LOL
You can see the photos they took at their Facebook Fan Page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Santee-CA/AliVega-Productions/30265473725
DiscoverSD.com was also attending, here are their photos: http://pictures.discoversd.com/san-diego-events/a848.html
Hpnotiq also had the Night School For Girls girls there, and there should be photos posted soon here: http://nightschoolforgirls.com/gallery-page.php?id=678
I’ll keep you posted, as best I can, during the next few days. Day 2 is Thursday at Stingaree, the great location of our last #SDTweetup. Day 3 is Friday at the Ivy, Day 4 will be Saturday at Float in the Hard Rock Hotel, and Day 5 is Sunday at the W Hotel.
Stay tuned for more in-depth coverage of bikiniweeksd.com – I hope to see you at one or all of the events.
